How placement works
- How is this different from a recruitment agency?
- A recruiter finds you someone to employ and then leaves. We place engineers who remain part of our firm, with our technical standards behind them and a replacement available if the fit is wrong. You are buying capacity rather than a hire.
- How quickly can someone start?
- It depends on the role and current availability. We would rather tell you honestly when we have the right person than commit to a date and place someone who is not suited to the work.
- Who owns the code they write?
- You do, from the first commit. We work in your repositories and your cloud accounts wherever possible, so there is nothing to transfer at the end.
- What if an engineer is not working out?
- Tell us early and we replace them. That is one of the practical advantages of placement over direct hiring, and we would rather make the change than defend a bad fit.
- Do engineers work in our timezone?
- We staff engagements to overlap with your working hours rather than ours, including the Sunday to Thursday week in Saudi Arabia. Clients are in the US, the UK, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand.
