Define infrastructure in code, automate delivery, and build monitoring that alerts on things that matter. This is a remote full-time role at Devinity Solutions LLC, a software engineering firm of 60 people founded in 2016.
About the role
We judge platform work by what happens on a bad day: whether the environment can be reproduced, whether the restore has been tested, and whether the alert reaches a person before a customer does.
You will work across AWS and Azure, on client environments and our own products.
What you will do
- Define infrastructure in Terraform across AWS and Azure
- Build CI/CD pipelines with rehearsed rollback
- Configure monitoring, logging and alerting that means something
- Run backup and restore procedures that have actually been tested
- Audit and reduce cloud spend without reducing resilience
What we are looking for
- Production Terraform experience
- AWS or Azure at depth, and familiarity with the other
- Container orchestration
- Incident response experience, including the parts that went badly
Useful, not required
- FinOps and cost optimisation
- Security and compliance tooling
- Kubernetes at scale
