Project Manager

About the Role

We're hiring a Project Manager to lead delivery of our AI-powered software projects. You'll manage cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and AI engineers — coordinating sprints, managing client expectations, and ensuring projects ship on time and on budget. Our projects span custom AI products, enterprise platforms, and staff augmentation engagements for global clients. You'll need strong technical literacy, excellent communication, and the ability to keep complex projects moving forward across time zones.

What You'll Do

• Lead project planning, scoping, and timeline estimation for AI software projects
• Manage sprint ceremonies (standups, planning, retrospectives) for distributed teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and status updates
• Track project health, risks, and dependencies — proactively addressing blockers
• Coordinate across frontend, backend, AI, and design teams
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and team capacity
• Document requirements, technical specifications, and project decisions
• Drive continuous improvement in team processes and delivery velocity

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of project management experience in software development
• Experience managing distributed, remote-first engineering teams
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Technical literacy — ability to discuss architecture, APIs, and AI concepts with engineers
• Experience with project management tools (Linear, Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder expectations
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities

Nice to Have

• Experience managing AI/ML projects or products with AI integrations
• PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification
• Experience with staff augmentation or agency delivery models
• Background in software engineering or technical education
• Experience with international clients across multiple time zones
