Run client engagements: scope that is written down, iterations that hold, and difficult conversations had early. This is a remote full-time role at Devinity Solutions LLC, a software engineering firm of 60 people founded in 2016.
About the role
Our delivery model is two-week iterations against a working staging environment, with scope defined by exclusions as much as inclusions.
The hardest part of the role is telling a client something they do not want to hear while the problem is still cheap to fix.
What you will do
- Run engagements across several concurrent clients
- Define and document scope, including what is deliberately excluded
- Keep iteration cadence and review points on schedule
- Surface risk early rather than managing it quietly
- Coordinate across timezones from the US through the Gulf to New Zealand
What we are looking for
- Software delivery experience in an agency or consultancy
- Enough technical fluency to challenge an estimate
- Direct client communication experience
- Willingness to deliver bad news promptly
Useful, not required
- Experience with distributed teams
- Background in engineering or QA
- Multi-timezone delivery
